Maintenance Certifying Technician/Avionic – Category B3

Is applicable to piston-engine-non-pressurized aeroplanes of 2000 kg mtom and below. Category B3 authorization entitles the holder to issue Certificates of Release to Service and to act as B3 support staff for: work on avionic systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not requiring troubleshooting.

Who Should Attend

  • Persons without experience which are interested to start a carrier in aviation and obtain an Aircraft Maintenance License
  • Military maintenance personnel willing to obtain a civil license.

Number of participants

  • Minimum : 8 persons
  • Maximum: 15 persons

Objective

After completion of the course participants will have the theoretical knowledge in accordance with the syllabus and knowledge level in conformity with EASA Part 66, appendix 1.

Eligibility

An applicant for an aircraft maintenance license shall be at least 18 years of age with ability in reading and understanding English.
